Obama Keeps Campaign Promises on Campaign Practices

Fulfilling a campaign promise, the Obama administration launched Ethics.gov, a Socrata-powered online database of lobbying reports, ethics records, and campaign finance filings. The new site features a unified search interface, full-text search capabilities, and interactive data exploration to provide unprecedented online access to data that was previously in hard-to-find silos.
