SAMHSA, Access Data via Multiple Interfaces
The Substance and Abuse Mental Health Services Administration strives to provide the greatest level of care possible in the most efficient manner. With the Socrata Open Data PlatformTM, SAMHSA has enabled the access of public data via multiple end-user interfaces from a single platform. By integrating an interactive voice recognition system with the Socrata Open Data API (SODA), users are now able to access an automated phone response system, provide their postal code, and receive the location of the nearest medical facility.
