Thanks to all of the University of Washington Computer Science & Engineering students who stopped by our table at the career fair yesterday. It was great meeting all of you. It was also great meeting Mary, who’s not even a CSE student but came to “crash the party in order to talk with cool companies” in her words. Lots of moxie. I love it. The nerd world needs people like Mary.
It was another great event, with a good mix of students graduating soon looking for full-time work and continuing students looking for internships and permanent part-time work.

I stumbled across Blist via the “Googlesphere”. I’m pretty impressed w/ the demo so far.
I have a question about integration w/ 3rd-party systems via web services. Are there any plans to be able to pull the data out of a “blist” spreadsheet in the form of XML (or CSV or JSON) and have it posted to a web service URL? That would be great!
I can think of all kinds of “applets” that I can use Blist to create and I’d love to be able to update our RDBMS with the data. Obviously, I’d love a two-way interface (get data from RDBMS, make changes, post it back to the RDBMS).
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
